That Was Camp

In class, we wrote a poem about a memory that we had. The poem was based on another poem by someone else. Here is my version. That was camp Remember the icy cold river water as it splashed up onto our faces? Remember as we steered through the rapids and occasionally crash into a big rock? That was camp Remember the taste of the meals that the chefs cooked for us all? Remember the massive mountains across the other side of the river from the dining area? That was camp Remember all of the frustrating challenges that the parents and camp owners set up for us? Do you remember playing in the sun and enjoying ourselves all day long? Market day

It is Friday the 16th of October 2015 and yesterday my class and I did taste testing. Yesterday I taste tested Violet and Mia's cupcakes, Holly's hokey pokey cookies and Isabella's lemon cookies. Taste testing was so much fun, but today it is my turn for others to taste test my chocolate brownies and rice bubble slice. I have some good news and some bad news about that. The good news is that the taste testing is after morning tea and the bad news is my buddy Zak is away today and that means that I need to do the taste testing by myself. I am extremely nervous.
